In my talks I share my own journey of building a sustainable business in today’s challenging economic environment.  I describe how to create the conditions for peak experiences with your customers, employees, and investors to cultivate peak performance for your business. My talks are filled with real-world examples of how to be a PEAK Leader and stories from my own company and others like Google, Whole Foods Market and Southwest Airlines.

Based upon my book, PEAK: How Great Companies Get Their Mojo from Maslow, the PEAK Primer helps participants understand how to address the higher needs of  employees, customers, and other key stakeholders. Great companies transform their industries and this Seminar helps participants understand how to tap into the power of self-actualization to create peak performance for themselves and their organizations.

Great companies align the development of their employees with the mission and path of the company. Our approach to employee engagement is based on one of the most famous theories of human motivation, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. We address unique ways to address your employees’ compensation needs as well as their recognition needs, and we show you how to tap into the meaning needs of employees, moving them from having a job to pursuing a career to living a calling.

Why is it that some companies are loved while others merely tolerated?  We live in a “word of mouse” era in which enthusiastic customers are our greatest marketing advantage.  In the past, satisfied customers stayed loyal, but with so many choices, today’s customers are promiscuous.  This program helps you look at your customer through a new lens: one that focuses on not just your customers’ expectations and desires, but also on their “unrecognized needs”.

PEAK principles are only as good as the practices of PEAK leaders. Many senior executives have found the principles in the book to be profound, yet they asked themselves “How can I develop these principles into practices in my daily life as a leader?” Through both workshops and individual executive coaching, you will learn how to apply the nine practices of PEAK Leadership . You’ll discover how when you focus on these practices you can lead your organization to true PEAK performance.

Teams exist to produce results. PEAK organizations create conditions for teams to produce results that exceed expectations. Our Leadership Practices help team members create a collaborative environment that supports them in being highly productive and fulfilled in their work, inspiring each person to their full potential.  The result is effective teams that can operate at PEAK performance, tapping into their own rich diversity of thinking, talent, and perspectives.
